By Local Shop is a retail store in Hemphill, Texas featuring products from local artisans and makers. We carry a rotating selection of handmade and locally sourced gifts, home décor, jewelry, skincare, kitchen items, and more.
**Where are you located?**
125 N. Texas St., Hemphill, TX.
**What are your store hours?**
- **Monday:** 10 AM–5 PM
- **Tuesday:** 10 AM–5 PM
- **Wednesday:** 10 AM–5 PM *(except summer seasonal hours below)*
- **Thursday:** 10 AM–5 PM
- **Friday:** 10 AM–5 PM
- **Saturday:** 10 AM–3 PM
- **Sunday:** Closed
**Summer seasonal hours:** We are **closed on Wednesdays from July 5 through September 15 each year.**
**What kinds of products do you carry?**
We carry a wide variety of artisan-made goods, including home décor, kitchen and cooking items, jewelry, clothing and accessories, baby/children items, health and beauty, lawn and garden, pet products, and more.
**Are your products made by local artisans?**
Yes. We work with a large network of local artisans and crafters, and purchases support small makers and local businesses.
**Do you sell items online?**
A limited selection may be available online, but most items are available in-store due to frequently changing inventory.
**How often does inventory change?**
Inventory changes regularly as artisans restock at different times. If you’re looking for something specific, contact us and we’ll do our best to help.
**Do you offer custom orders?**
Some artisans may offer custom work. Reach out with what you’re looking for and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
**What is your return/refund policy?**
Returns are rare. If an item is defective, please contact us and we’ll make it right.
**How can I become a vendor/artisan at By Local Shop?**
We’re always interested in quality handmade items. Contact us with photos of your work and a short description of what you make, and we’ll follow up with next steps.
