Family craft time - vision board 2026

Put the screens down for a couple of hours and do something you’ll actually remember.

Family Craft Time is a cozy, come-as-you-are creative session at By Local Shop where families slow down, sit together, and make something with their hands. It’s not a drop-the-kids-off activity — parents craft too. Everyone participates, everyone creates, and everyone leaves with something they’re proud of.

This month’s project: Vision Boards

Kick off 2026 with intention.

At this first Family Craft Time, each family member will create their own vision board — dreams, goals, plans, and all. We’ll have the supplies ready and we’ll guide you step-by-step, so beginners are more than welcome.

• Date: Saturday, January 17

• Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Location: By Local Shop, 125 N. Texas St., Hemphill, TX

Ticket pricing

• $35 per family (up to 4 family members)

• $5 for each additional family member

What’s included

• All vision board supplies

• Guided instruction and a relaxed, welcoming space

• A finished vision board for each participant to take home

Who it’s for

Families of all kinds — kids, parents, grandparents. If you can cut, glue, and dream a little, you can do this.
