Artisan Food Marketplace Recap: A Night of Flavors, Music & Community Connection

What a night! Our latest Artisan Food Marketplace, held during the First Friday Downtown event, was a true celebraion of local flavor, creativity, and community spirit. We’re still buzzing from all the energy, laughter, and delicious bites that filled the shop and spilled out onto Texas Street.

Meet Our Vendors – And Their Sell-Out Success!

We were thrilled to welcome a stellar lineup of local food artisans:

- Vicious Fire Kooken: Their take and bake pizzas flew out the door—no surprise there, these pies are legendary!
- CK’s Hot Sauce: A smokey favorite, CK’s brought the heat and left with empty crates.
- Auntie E Baked Goods: From cookies to breads, Auntie E’s treats were snapped up fast by sweet-toothed shoppers.
- Chained by Chloe: Anklets and Bracelets were all the rage with this permanent jewelry.
- Sweet Girls Freeze Dried Candies: A fun twist on classic candies, these goodies were gone in a flash.

Every single vendor sold out or nearly sold out—an amazing testament to the talent and hard work of our local makers, and to the enthusiastic support of our community!

A Night of Music & Smiles

The shop was alive with the sounds of live music, thanks to performances by Charlotte Dominguez, A'Laura and Ryia Wood, and Erin Watson. Their music set the perfect mood for an evening of browsing, tasting, and catching up with friends—old and new.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, as well as plenty of new ones discovering By Local Shop for the first time. Events like these remind us why we love what we do—bringing people together to celebrate local creativity and build connections.
